Abstract :Through the analysis of the major causes of electrical fires in branch circuit， i. e.， circuit overload， poor connections and harmonics， combined with electrical fireproofing codes at home and abroad， and the specific circumstances of the processes， apparatus and inspection instruments used in practical engineering， the recommendations have been put forward in construction， acceptance， repair and maintenance of the branch circuit， emphasizing the use of appropriate preventive detection equipments to improve power utilization security.
